Moses Mount
The climb of the 2285 m high Moses Mountain starts at ca 2:00 AM.
After a long walk or camel ride (extra charge), you reach the last phase of 775 steps to be on top of the mountain were Moses is said to have received the 10 Commandments. The Bedouins will help you in this difficult last phase, but it’s worth the effort: the sunrise over the mountains is unforgettable.
Back in the valley, the famous St. Catherine Monastery is there to be visited. Back at hotel ca 13:00-14:00
